Ibera Marshes Safari & Iguazu Falls

The Iberá Wetlands are the second-largest wetland in the world after Brazilian‘s Pantanal and it’s Argentina‘s largest protected area. It’s located on the North-eastern province of Corrientes, covering some 1,300,000. Because of its biodiversity it’s considered an ecological paradise for wildlife lovers, where it’s possible to appreciate a great variety of animals like the marshes deer, pampa dear, caimans, capybaras and about 350 species of bird.

6 jours / 5 nuits IBERÁ MARSHES SAFARI & IGUAZÚ FALLS
Jour 1 Posadas – Esteros del Iberá Arrival at Posadas airport and private transfer on 4WD vehicle to Colonia Carlos Pellegrini, some 200 kms away. Arrival around mid day, check in and accommodation in selected lodge. Afternoon visit to the Reserve’s Interpretation Centre followed by a walk to watch the hawler monkeys reserve.
Jour 2 Esteros del Iberá Navigation on the Ibera lagoon to observe the yacare caimans, capibaras and other species that in this unique ecosystem.  Afternoon ride on horse or walk in the bushes and palm forest, plus a visit to a typical ‘gaucho’ family. Night walk for more surprising discoveries.
Jour 3 Esteros del Iberá – Posadas – Puerto Iguazú Private transfers on 4WD to Posadas. We continue the drive towards Puerto Iguazú, visiting the Jesuit Ruins of San Ignacio, declared Mankind Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Afternoon arrival to Puerto Iguazú. Check in. Accommodation.
Jour 4 Puerto Iguazú Full day excursion to Iguazú Falls on the Argentine side. The excursion is design to allow full enjoyment of the 276 waterfalls and the surrounding jungle, rich in flora and fauna, along two footbridge circuits, the Inferior and the Superior, and an ecological train ride towards the impressive Devil”s throat. Great Adventure tour (optional): It starts with an 8 km ride in 4WD vehicles through jungle paths followed by an exiting navigation of the 6 km upstream across impressive rapids. Approach to the waterfalls and disembark where the Inferior Circuit begins. Combinable with Argentine Falls full day tour.
Jour 5 Puerto Iguazú Visit to the falls on the Brazilian side for the best panoramic views. From a natural terrace overlooking the river, in Brazilian territory, the variety of waterfalls can be appreciated along 1 km of walks and paths. Return to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Jour 6 Puerto Iguazú Transfer to Puerto Iguazú airport at the agreed time. End of our service or extension of the itinerary.
